The Cayman Islands Football Association is the governing body of football in the Cayman Islands, committed to developing the sport at all levels and inspiring the next generation of players.
The Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA) is the national governing body for football across our three islands — Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. From grassroots leagues for children picking up their first ball to senior national teams flying the Cayman flag in CONCACAF and FIFA competitions, every level of the game in our country runs through CIFA.
We administer the domestic men's, women's and youth leagues, develop and certify our country's referees, and manage our national teams from the U-15 age groups through to the senior squads. As a full FIFA member since 1992, an affiliate of CONCACAF, and an active member of the Caribbean Football Union, we sit alongside our regional neighbours at the highest levels of the international game.
Beyond the pitch our work spans coach education, women's football development, youth pathways, and the long-term ambition of producing Caymanian players capable of competing anywhere in the world. Football is part of who we are — and our job is to make sure every Caymanian who wants to play has a place to do it, every fan has a team to follow, and every dream of representing the Cayman Islands has a path to reach.

Milestones from CIFA's history on and off the pitch
The Cayman Islands Football Association is established as the national governing body for the sport across Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, formalising domestic competition and the structure of the game.
Cayman Islands becomes affiliated with CONCACAF, the football confederation for North America, Central America and the Caribbean — opening the door to regional qualifying tournaments and competitive international fixtures.
CIFA is granted full FIFA membership, allowing the Cayman Islands to enter FIFA World Cup qualifying campaigns and participate in age-group, women's and senior international competitions on the world stage.
Domestic competition expands to include men's premier and lower divisions, a women's premier league, and a youth pathway running through the U-15 and U-17 age groups, building consistent club football across all three islands.
The senior women's national team plays a multi-window International Friendly Series against Bermuda, Guatemala and Costa Rica, building competitive minutes ahead of CONCACAF qualifying cycles.
The Women's U-17, Men's U-17 and Men's U-20 national teams compete in CONCACAF qualifying tournaments held in Curaçao, giving the next generation of Caymanian players invaluable tournament experience.
